Just been under the car to spray all the bolts etc, while it's not raining  ::)

Can't see any problem taking the 2 bolts out of the end section of the cat exhaust, but looking at the manifold end, 4 bolts, yes got lots of extender bars, it looks like 2 of the bolts you just loosen (do you twist loose when un-done ??) n the other 2 bolts you remove ??
Is it best to remove manifold heat shield as well ???

Tia confused :o

General Car Chat / Re: snow tyres or chains??
« on: 20 June 2012, 12:52:21 »
I've got a set of snow tyres fitted on steel wheels in my shed, so as soon winter comes I'll be swapping them around  8)
Never tried snow chains or snow socks so couldn't say if any good or not  :-X
Doesn't take half an hour to swap them so I'm happy :)

Exhaust back box ??
After just putting mine back on the road, I had a rumbling noise at the back, the back box had come out of it's rubber mountings some how, any way re-fitted it and now no noise  :D

Worth checking  :y
