thanks to all that help me it was the seletor switch on the gear box .i got one four £50 thats better than £300

yes but now and then there all cum onQuoteQuote2.2 with auto box, first thoughts, check the atf as said, get the codes read for possible cam sensor issues as thess are a weekness on the 4 pots and known to upset the auto box. Other than that and checking the selector switch it doesnt sound good if its jumping out of gear.it dont jump out off gear its like its not in gear its got 17700 miles
How many miles has it done and was the fluid ever changed?
Do the selector lights next to the gear lever corespond with the gear lever position?

Last night i was cruising along at 100mph and every time i would hit a bump the front of the car was fine but the back was going left or right.. how can i fix this?it sounds like your rear bushers bmw have the same problem or the dampers get sum one to follow you and if there see your back wheels bonsing realy bad its your dampers
