Thanks for your responses.
I hadn't planned to resort to using the jack.
It sounds like the closest (to level) surface are the door sills.
Thanks

Received wisdom is that one should check Oil, and the like, on a level surface.
My drive is not level.
Does anyone happen to know whether there are any surfaces, inside or outside of the car, which I can use to check that the vehicle is level, please?

Omega General Help / Windscreen wash problem resolved
« on: 18 January 2011, 21:10:13 »
Just wanted to say thanks to Jimbob for his article on extracting the windscreen washer motor.
The filter was totally slimed up.
My windscreen is getting the full force of the washer jets again.
Thanks

Newbie Welcome Area / Re: Facelift?

Thank for your messages.
As my radiator grill stays down when I open the bonnet, I've established I don't have a facelift.
What's the difference between mini- and pre-?

Newbie Welcome Area / Facelift?
« on: 09 January 2011, 22:45:49 »
Hi
Looking at the posts, I see several references to facelift and prefacelift.
How do I know what sort mine is?
I'm looking for help with my bonnet-mounted screen washer jets that are now only just reaching the windscreen since the cold weather.
