its still cooler underneath, no engine heat

I never had any problems with engine on my others cars,
The powerfilter would still get cold air from a "plastic pipe" that's fittet on the front of the car, but of course it would not get so much cold air as normal, but it doesen't give any danger on the engine  :)

Performance panel filter will give you maybe 1 or 2 more bhp and fully use the standard air intake. Id go for that and just enjoy the sound of that rev happy 16v engine :y

Take the throttle body off, give than a good clean, same with breather pipes, along with some quick oil chanages will no doubt give you better increase in performance.

Thanks for all the good comments! i really appreciate to get good tips! i see that you guys know what you're all talking about  :y

From my experience a cone filter with a cold air feed will help but unless its enclosed you will just gain noise and probably lose a few bhp.

If i had 2.0 16v i would want to keep all my BHP rather than gain a boy racer noise. :y ;)

Yeah i think you have right  :y it's not a big engine so best to keep the bhp's that the engine have :)

hehe! it's right what is on the picture,
I never tryed a panel filter before, does it give any noise?
I'am used to power filter on my other cars, gives a nice sound  :P,
do u really get the same sound from a panel filter?

No noise from a panel filter but it will be a better all rounder. Unless you want to spend a few hundred £££ on a closed induction kit as a £10 filter off ebay will lose you a few bhp but give you more noise.

hmm, yeah okey, i was searching on the internett and found panel filter, and single powerfilter, it cost me the same price, but i must find out what is the best thing to buy :P
