ive spoken to a few auto box specialists and one says change fluid and filter, (already done that)?

it happens anytime hot or cold, especially on a very slight incline and i mean very slight. oil level checked and up to level... new filter fitted in april 2011

i have a 2.2 cd auto omega and the box sticks in 1st gear periodically, but if i select sports mode the box works fine. ive spoken to a few auto box specialists and one says change fluid and filter, (already done that) and another said that if the box works in sport mode then it must be electrical/electronic...

any ideas guys, totally bemused by it all... :-/ :-?

i have had this before, dont know why but i cured it by resetting the "total closure " programme. to do this, send the offending window fully open, then close the window with the close button but HOLD THE BUTTON IN CLOSE POSITION UNTILL WINDOW CLOSED BUT KEEP THE BUTTON HELD CLOSED FOR A FURTHER 5 SECONDS, a slight click will be heard. then operate the window as normal, open then close. hey presto, problem solved.

i have a similar problem. mine drifts from side to side on uneven roads, (tramlines) ive had drop links, bottom arms dics and pads, tyres about 60% worn, and 4 wheel lazer tracking done twice, no-body seems to know what it is. next step will be new tyres then front shocks, after that im lost for ideas. oh, and the n/s/f/ wheel seems to sit 1/2 inch further back in the wheel arch than off side, yet the tracking shows its all square. mind boggles, well mine does...

hi, from a sheffielder lol. i had my filter and ATF changed, made no differance, the old filter and oil didnt look that old, maybe previous owner tried this before delling it to me.
its intermittent, some days rarely have the problem, others its quite regular. doin my head in now. running in sports mode to solve it.

ive had the filter and gaskets replaced, cost me £110, didnt look or smell that bad really, any way, it runs and changes gear more smoothly but still has not cured the sticking 1st gear problem. will it ease as the fresh fluid gets used or is there another reason? baffled!

hi there, can anyone tell me if there is a place in or around sheffield where i can get my box ecu version checked and if nec up graded?
i have problem of box sticking in 1st (randomly) untill revs of 4000 rpm reached, if sport button pressed it changes up as normal. any help please.

No it does not arm. C locking locks all doors fine. No indicators flash or horn sound. If he leaves dog in car, no alarm sounds when car locked. Seems like there is no power to alarm. Has It got its own fuse?

C locking works fine. Fob battery is new. Alarm not working at all. Which fuse could it be on?.

MY brother has the above problem after having some work done and battery disconnected. Did the usual resetting of key fob but nothing. Central locking works fine.any ideas please?

A 2.2 with a GS821(.1) TCM goes to version 0A on the TCM.
