Considering buying 2002 3.2 Elite,but EML on continuously! Does that signify faulty EMU,or could it be a sensor failure? Help!

Just bought 2001 Elite 3.0 with elec.problem. After standing for around two days battery discharges completely! Checked courtesy lights etc,has new alternator & battery fitted also by previous owner.I have noticed strange "whirring/clicking"noises from,I think,cd player when switched off,wondered if that may be connected with power-drain at all? HELP! Thanks.

Hi! Going to view above car this w/end,but it has a fault! Slight tapping noise on start-up,fades after a few seconds,smokes a little if stood for a few days,no smoke when driven! I suspect tappet-related problem! Any ideas of potential cost or damage if un-treated? Thanks.

The passenger seat on my Elite will not move fully to its forward position,but moves a little in backward direction,with only a few inches travel overall. Can these(elec)ones be adjusted at all to improve travel? Thanks.
