Hi thanks for the response, i have a 2.2 DTI (2003) estate and on my car the cruise and computer control buttons are both on the same stalk on the left hand side of the steering wheel.
If any one has one could they let me know a price and we can do a deal.

Thanks Andy that does sound like the most likely cause. Tried the battery disconect with no joy.
Have put a post in the newbe section to see if anyone has one.

Hi all hope some one can help.
My computer screen decided to stay on the temp screen all of a sudden, no amount of pushing the control button on the stalk would make it change. I could live with this.
Now it has gone on to instant fuel consumption. Has any one any ideas how to get it working again, or back to the temp screen If i disconnect the battery and reconnect it would this do the trick.

Hi There. Just a quick one. My thermostat seams to be open all the time, so i will replace it,i can get a themostat without the housing, but most places want to sell the thermostat complete with the housing.
I dont see why you have to replace the housing can any one shed any light on this.

Does'nt move at all when you press the key buttons. It used to work but now only moves on the key.

Thanks for the replies, the oil level is fine sitting on max.
i don't really think i have an oil pressure prob as i have done over 1000 miles with it like this just would like to check  the sensor.

Can any one tell me where the oil pressure sensor is on a diesel 2.2dti.
The rfeason i ask is at idle the oil pressure light some times comes on on the dash. I want to check if the sensors faulty.
