Trade insurance for young ones anyone in the know?
« on: 05 March 2012, 17:07:40 »

Looking at getting both my boys on my trade policy, one of them is 22, the other is nearly 18. Would they get on there, basically, I've got about 9 cars waiting to be collected from one company so need a couple of drivers I could trust, plus it means they could drive them around when I'm busy doing other things. Any ideas?

Not going to cheap, iih, but probably a lot cheaper than them getting tneir own trade policy or even normal policies x 2.

Guessing you may be with Tradex, if so get a quote from a Tradewise Broker, could be cheaper.

I use Quote Me Today for my Trade stuff never let me down yet.

Will be much cheaper than getting their own policies, eldest sons insurance isn't too bad, but my 17 year olds is unreal, really expensive. I'll have a look into tradewise  & Quote me today  :y.

You may have to contend with a restriction on engine size for young drivers if they'll cover them

Yep and a upper limit on claim amount per claim, probably be more restricted on model type rather than Engine size, ie Super Cars, Cosworths etc.
