Malaysia GP
« on: 25 March 2012, 20:44:42 »

I quite enjoyed todays coverage on The BBC. I am so glad I didn't sit through the red flag "live". So apart from avoiding the result it was fine. I sort of miss the podium press conference but lets face it that is no loss. Even the Brundle grid walk isn't a loss as a lot of the drivers stopped talking to him.

Well done Perez.Well done Alonso. Well done Hamilton. Minuses for Mclaren team tactics. minuses for Schumacher, Vettel and Button. Wet/damp races sort the men from the boys.

Roll on the next race. :y

Nope. Although f1 races do seem too long.

I think he carried the sport in the UK single handedly, purely by his obvious enthusiasm and passion.  When he retired, my interest dwindled, as it became more obvious how dull it is...

There was actually some good racing this week, although the DRS does still make some of the overtakes "Artificial", but I have to admit that the races do seem too long. Perhaps going towards the Touring Cars route of 2 shorter races would make it more interesting  :-\

Felt sorry for Button, although the contact was entirely his fault, because he looked tidy for the race. Still fancy his chances over Hamilton over the whole season though

We will see!  It was nice to see talented drivers in not so competitive(in the dry) cars go well in the damp. This field is one of the best for years.
