few jobs to do..

Well,owned the Mig for 6/8 weeks now  :y
timne to give the old girl a service,oil,filter change,fuel filter...
then to add to that front wishbones,front drop links and front brake pads ::)
handbrake needs adjustment too...seems like the list is never ending and it's only done 77000..
Service not due till 81 tho so thought i would do everything in one hit...
Is there anything else i mite nee to do?..Going to run an engine flush thro it also

Anything to look out for?..or should i say..any pain in the ar$e jobs?  ;D

Any help/pointers always appreciated

Don't forget to clean the breathers, and has the cambelt been done?

cambelt and water pump done @61k so need to worry bout them for a bit  :y

Remember to check the front drainage in the bulkhead plenum chamber for leaves, as this caught me out a few years ago  :( and her indoors does not like paddling  :o

I'm not a big fan of engine flushes. I'd rather do the oil and filter change then change it again in a thousand miles if your worried. Sometime a little bit of muck keeps things nice and quiet.

Cambelt and tensioner if due. and do breathers with oil change.

Don't - often does more harm than good....

A few regular oil changes at short intervals is a better approach :y

As stated from other members....i never ever use engine flush...my personal opinion if it is that bad is to change oil and filter run for a couple of hundred miles and then change again   ..cheap enough to do considering .......that way some crap is best left in place... :y
