i had the same with a local fabrication company and contacted them to see whether they would "donate" something to my cause if every time i got a call from someone -after them- i would pass on the correct number.
they told me to sod off and fly a kite so i went to their competition and they said we go to the globe at weekends pop in and we will buy you a couple of pints every now and then, so true to my word i received calls to this other company and said i find a better company for this type of work is xxxxx, needless to say they would phone them and quote "tony" and i duly got my pints every now and again!!!

later that year my old mate kept getting calls for a big rental company (every 20 mins or so) when he phoned up their head off they realised that they had sent out 40,000 brochures with the wrong number on and to save recalling them offered my mate £1,500 and a huge book of stamps plus 20% off future tool rentals for his number which he gave!!

I know how you feel Pete, my home No. is almost the same as one of the local Solicitors in the town and I get the same thing. >:(

I just leave the answer phone on all the time now with a message informing callers that if they want the solicitors to check the number they've dialled as they've got the wrong one. Can't leave a rude message in case family phone. ::) Ubelievably I still get idiots leaving a message for the solicitor! :o
