Followed by a very mean sign: Ca Ching, retard BMW owner AB52 ABC your average speed was 62mph NIP in post.  :o ;D ;D ;D

You know .. I wish they would do that! Not those silly signs that light up if you're doing 31 in a 30 (you know the ones - cable tied to lamp posts everywhere it seems), but something that told you what your average speed was..

.. at least then I'd know the cameras actually do something, because they don't seem to slow people down; so I can only assume nobody ever actually gets a ticket from them..

With the quality of Driving schools nowadays, I'm not suprised these things happen. >:(

Went to pick swmbo up from work, and heading off the estate approaching a T junction. On the opposite side to me is a line of parked cars, which I am almost at. From the main road comes a Learner driver and approches the line of cars parked on her side. Does she stop and give way...does she hell. I am now opposite the first car and on the brakes, bearing in mind I am also going downhill. I stamped the anchors on, and had to bump up the kerb to avoid her. No reduction in speed from her only a 'thankyou' wave from the lady instructor. >:(
I was taught that vehicles parked on your side were the obstruction, and you 'gave way' to oncominig traffic. :y Has the terminology been deleted from the driver instruction manuals, because it seems to me that nowadays 'giving way' does not exist >:( >:(

A few years ago when I drove 60k miles a year (company cars ;)) the multitude of retards I saw >:(, obviously with the amount of time I spent on the roads.
Motorways weren't too bad but what used to really get my goat was when approaching a lane restriction with eventual closure of  the outside lane. You get a couple of miles informing you of the lane closure and then a yardage reduction before the cones closing off the lane. The knobs who didn't pull into the first and second lanes and keep traffic flowing but insisted on speeding past in the third lane and then forcing their way into the second lane when they finally came up to the cones, resulting in loads of brake lights and an eventual traffic snarl up and tailbacks. >:( >:(

I managed on two occasions to stuff the morons by pacing them, not giving way and forcing the pricks through the cones ultimately to be left stranded .. ;) :y :y :y Naughty I know but serves the smart arse planks right ;D ;D Almost as pleasurable was to see them forced to stop right up to the cones  and not be let into lane two. ;) ;D :y

I used to hate weekend driving especially Sunday when the real retards came out onto the roads, wash the car on a Saturday trip to the local shops and out for a country pub lunch on Sunday. Their highway code must have been printed in braille . ;D
