Parrot hands free kit with Bose
« on: 06 April 2012, 00:14:33 »

I have a Parrot MKi9200 hands free kit sat wasting away at home. I'd like to fit it in the Omega. However I have the Bose set up. I'm concerned it may not be compatible due to the 2 ohm set up used by the Bose. Has anybody fitted one? If you have did all the steering wheel controls and display work ok? My Omega has the 2013 head unit fitted.

See my recent post suggesting caution with Parrot speaker level connections. Ok, its a CK3100 and in a Focus - but the principle is the same.

Probably best to use the mute from the Parrot to mute the Omega stereo and use a separate little speaker for the Parrot audio.
