2.2 DIESEL ELITE BATTERY CHANGING

Hi, i've recently been having flat battery problems, had the alternator checked and all is ok, battery is the original so i guess must be on it's last legs. I've got a new battery but when i try to disconect the old one  the alarm goes off, is there something i'm over looking, cheers for any help

It will. Just ignore it and put the new battery on. It'll shutup as soon as it has power again.

Loosen the battery clamps turn ignition to II, turn ignition off and remove battery clamps within 10 secs
