ELITE TO CD DRIVERS SEAT ELECTRICS
« on: 17 April 2012, 23:43:17 »

I am transferring a driver's leather electric seat from a 2001 elite to a 2003 CD. I read 'The Boy's' very informative post on the subject and in a PM reply he clarified that to get power to the new seat I should use the large 2.5mm 12v to join all the 12v connections to control unit, and the large 2.5mm 0v for the 0v connections to control unit as these are permanent 12v/0v connections, always live. I have basically bridged the small red and small black onto the large red, soldered them together and taped them and then the small brown onto the larger brown, soldered and taped them. I took a photo of my handywork and wondered if you guys would cast your expert eye over it to check Ive done it right just in case I plug it in and it all goes up in smoke!
