Personally I wouldn't touch one.  Basiaclly an overpriced Golf, and horrendous money to service and fix if you use a main dealer.

This one says it's done 23k in the ad header, but 58k is the ad body and in the pics!  I smells a rat straight away!  :-\

When i was working in a Vw/Audi specialist place we had problems with the early FSI engine with Oil feeds to the head because there chained they suffered from the oid feed blocking up and causing rattly top ends on start up this is 53- 55 im talking so they might have sorted it out by the one your looking at  :y

They also suffered from thermostat problems in early life again talking 04 -06 where they would'nt open untill high temperatures causing the engine to get incredibly hot and parts to warp and give false readings

Just have a good sniff round under the bonnet coolent levels and leaks from the top end if you can see under the bonnet plastics

Good luck

Don't buy one, it's a Golf with a different badge, in fact I saw a '57' plate being pushed out of the McDonald's car park yesterday.
