LPG prices

What do you use to compare prices? And do you tend to use places like flogas or calor? If so how can you find out if there is a local autogas depo around where I live? The calor website seems to mention everything but the availability of autogas.

Based in greater London, so countrywide outlets are not easily accessible.

Hi D and welcome to the world of LPG :y

I tend to use www.filllpg.co.uk as it's updated by the users or www.petrolprices.com

There are various apps for various mobile devices. A single up to date resource does seem difficult to find on a mobile though.

Indeed... The first website I suggested seems to be the most up to date IME because it's updated by the members :y

They have an Android App available and are currently looking for someone to develop an iOS App (Tunnie!!!) ::)

If your based in London the cheapest one is the Calor Gas Centre under the Bow Flyover (off slip road before Tesco;s), at 70p a litre worth a fill up if passing.

Chris. ;)

Thanks LD. Did Tubbs send you pics of the install?

Zirk, thats exactly what I want to know more about. Petrol prices seem to show up forecourts only. Filllpg is good, but for a starter like myself, there seems to be a void in the Beckenham/Shortlands area. How do I find out about the calor or flogas sites which promise cheaper LPG prices?

He did :y We had quite a bit of chatter backwards and forwards actually and I put his mind at rest a little about the small issue... I hate to say it but I don't think it's the LPG that has caused it but a HT fault the LPG has highlighted.

Be aware that Calor/Flogas aren't always cheaper ;) I'd recommend searching on the lpg forum for details of the LPG Accumulator card that Chris referred to because I'm sure there were a few in London that participate :-\

Anyway, you'll soon find that you won't be paying that much attention to the price and you'll just be grinning when you fill up :y

Whats HT? I was going to have the plugs changed soon +/- coil pack.

I will have a look for the accumulator card.

I know what you mean though. tubbs was professional and spent a good while trying to sort it out. Bless him. He seemed almost devasted when I left with the little issue, although I did tell him not to worry. The whole install seems very good from a newbie's POV. I am very happy both with the quality and service I received. I dont have any pics myself, havent taken any since I got back. Maybe I should and post it up for all to judge. Or you could do it for me considering you have seen the install before I did.  ;D

He was gutted! I warned him of the oddities we have encountered in the past and he'd managed to get it spot on. HT = High Tension, which is plugs and/or Coil Pack ;)

As for pictures... They were texted to me so not great quality so I'll let you do them ;) (I'll try to move them up to my hosting site tomorrow and post them then if I get a chance ;))
