I've been trying for the last 2 weeks to finish the Vw. If it isn't raining I'm working and if I'm not working I've got gastroenteritis  :( :( :(

I was supposed to be welding the transmission tunnel in the Avenger today, but I'm not doing that in the rain.

Because the Carlton gearbox(bolted to an XE) is much taller than the BW35 auto that I removed. So, I've made a cut on each side of the tunnel to raise it, and have to weld in some triangular fillets, plus reshape the end to take the gearlever. But it's outside, and I'm not welding in the rain!
