Pretty meaningless, IMHO. If the owner can't be @rsed to change the tyres it fails. Not the car's fault. ;)

They did have a representative of the French car industry on Radio 4 this morning to explain why their cars have so many "first MOT" failures. Would have thought that would be obvious. ;D

Take a look at the Failiure % by catagory... 8.1% failed on 'drivers view of the road'... Ahem!!  :-X

Interesting site. Very interesting.

My pre-facelift used to go through brake-lights like they were going out of fashion.

Never had any issues with steering though. Maybe it is how you drive it? Talking of which, I can guess why the tyres might be a tad high!  ::)
