Water in Rear Near Side footwell?
« on: 16 May 2012, 21:44:46 »

Hi,

I have water in the rear near side footwell.

It has accumulated beneath the front passenger seat around the outward seat fixing to the floor.

It is not in the front footwell nor does it extend back to the rear seat.

Could it be coming from the air vent situated beneath the seat?

If so - how does it get in there??  Is it blown through there, or, does motion move it from some other place?

Any ideas? :-\

Thanks

Andy

Said it`d be around that mark. If you go S/H you need to find a breaker prepared to cannibalise an autobox, and if box is not known good you could be buying the same problem. If the 2-3 is confirmed, I`d be inclined to "bite the bullet"

Tunie had a similar problem, it was a hole in chassis. Looked to be an intentional hole, maybe it was supposed to be plugged.

On his, we sealed hole, and dried out carpet.
