rear coil springs.
« on: 30 May 2012, 21:00:10 »

Hi all ,
Jingley noise from rear o/s when going over reasonable bumps has turned out to be on investigation a broken rear coil spring.
I've read help on guides and seems ok to do ,is it hard i've got the self levelling shocks.
Can anyone give me an idea of cost inc vat and does self levelling type springs differ from ordinary ones? any advice greatly appreciatedhttp://images.omegaowners.com/forum/smf2000/Smileys/oofstd/undecided.gif

I used Boge ZF  Part number 25E490 for self levellers for my 3.2 saloon - 3 years ago they were £58 each. Not sure if I bought direct from ZF Trading or via factor but you can ring ZF to check your reg number against part.

Not to hard mate. The Guide should help you. The difference with the self levellers is that they have a conjector for the small air pipe :y
