Europa.eu (not a political thread-honest)
« on: 28 May 2012, 16:20:54 »

http://europa.eu/legislation_summaries/transport/bodies_objectives/tr0054_en.htm

Just discovered this amazing website in numerous languages(11?) including English, covering a whole raft of EU legislation. This page is for transport seeing as this is a car forum!!

I was on another forum with a hot debate on Health entitlement in Spain for expats living here longer than five years. What the EU legislation and what local government offices are telling expats are different. I am not surprised. ;D ;D

Hmm. Well, the "Single European Sky" was a complete pain in the @rse for anyone who flies, so I can only imagine the "Single European Road" will be just as much fun for anyone who drives. Get ready for driving on the wrong side of the road and everything in kilometres. >:(

It's all about Brussels gaining power, bit by bit, through the back door. >:(

No, I drive down the middle like everyone else and then act surprised when I meet someone coming the other way doing exactly the same.

By 2050 we will all be driven by wire at the speed limit with a meter sutracting units from our hard earned credits. I will be in a Westfield bathchair(limited to 3km/h) by then so won't give a damn.

Second comment on Nick's Daily Express article......

"Critics last night urged David Cameron and Chancellor George Osborne to stand up to Brussels."-- As those two could not even stand up for a pee, standing up to Brussels is a complete non starter.

Excellent!!  :y :y :y
