Mondeo clutch.
« on: 01 June 2012, 20:11:14 »

A mate has recently bought a 2001 2.0 TDCi duratorq with a new clutch fitted? It's running ok but slips if pushed. We've been told it could do with a thorough bleed but it seems we need a specialist kit. We know it's a bit of an epic job & risky if the bleed nipple is opened too much.

Has anyone got said kit we could borrow or if not too far from Lincolnshire could we bring the car to you? Might be able to scrape up a modest fee!

This is for a mate who works hard, has no money & a child & pregnant wife. If the clutch goes the car's scrap. It's fine otherwise.

Was the DMF changed at the same time the new clutch was fitted?
