I have a solution. Only adults who have paid National Insurance in the UK since working age can use the facility for free, everyone else has to pay or take out an insurance. Anyone under the working age who's parents have paid National Insurance since working age also get to use the facilities free of charge. If you are new to the UK then you have to build up credits say for 10 years then you can use the National Health until that time they will have to put their hands in their own pockets oh and one more thing OAPs go to the front of the Qs ::)

I'll probaly get hammered for this but what the hell, its my opinion :)

You only need to take a look around Europe to see what other countries do. Do you get free healthcare if you leave Britain and go elsewhere? Only if you are either working OR retired, in which case the UK pays about 3,500 a year to the receiveing country to be rid of your moribund body. Britain could do well to do the same. I think Camerons suggested welfare cuts to the under 25's are a good idea too. Put a bit of family back into the community. Why should tax payers fund a flat for folk who could live at home like the Spaniards do.?.

Private finance initiative in its original form was first introduced by the Major govt.and was probably a good idea. Nu Liebore turned it into something else entirely, something utterly cynical Agreed. But isn't this like everything else that has been fine tuned to death. Who would ever have imagined successive governments taxing fuel to death but they have. Incidentally this tax hike on fuel is only postponed till January.
