Any metal frabicators here?
« on: 29 October 2006, 16:50:17 »

Seeing that the stock engine breather assembly is a bit pants... I was thinking that if a breather vent was added to each cam cover and then the right pair where linked by a t-piece and same for left bank and then either both hoses run or a 3rd T-piece connecting both banks run to a catch bottle mounted on the side of airbox with a large tube venting the collector bottle into the airbox.

The parts are cheap and if baffle plate was mounted inside the cam covers below the vent holes then the transfer of oil would be minimal.

Or has someobe already produced this?

There is nothing wrong with the breather stuff (if the car has been looked after).

Yeah sorry, was also thinking about my Suzuki ;D

Can you ask your mate what he would charge to insert a 90 degree union into each cam cover....suppose each union about  15mm in diameter. Thinking of the unions facing each other so they then run to a T-piece that then runs to catch tank/bottle

Thanks
