headlights help
« on: 17 July 2012, 21:03:59 »

The headlights on my 2002 elite were looking really dull, not so much yellowy more scratched fuzzy(hope you get my meaning.)
Thought about new ones until Andyc let me know the cost! Advised to clean with plastx which has worked to a degree  on nearside but o/s still looks dull and scratched.
I had a look on ebay and there seems to be aftermarket types but i dont know what i'm buying. Being an elite i presume they are xenon self leveling type but still not sure , i definitely need to replace drivers side. what advice can anyone give to ensure i get the right one any help appreciated.

Never heard of plastx, but I have had good results from good old Brasso. Wet n dry has also been recommended on here, and I doubt your headlight is beyond repair, unless someone has used a dodgy chemical cleaner in the past.
