Hi all,

Sorry to add yet another question about seats but I have black leather seats in my 2003/03 Omega elite saloon that I'd like to change for cloth (and I want to keep my leather seats for when I sell the car).

So, with regards to the drivers seat, can I change just the seat (ie leave the runners on the car and just replace the leather seat with a cloth seat), assuming that the replacement cloth seat is from another facelift elite model (00 to 03)?

Are the electrics for a facelift elite cloth seat identical to a facelift elite leather seat, all other things being equal?

As long as the battery is disconnected while I change the seat over, what are the chances that I'll avoid the dreaded airbag light coming on?

Thanks for your help

Cheers, Mark

Battery off, cup of tea 10 - 15 mins before you start.

Seem to remember someone telling me about the Yellow Sticker on the passenger Seat (to do with Baby Buggy) on the very late ones and wiring compatibility ??, could be wrong, no doubt someone will be along to put me straight.

Yeah, someone mentioned the yellow sticker on here when I asked a similar question a while back. That's why I'm only going to change the drivers seat for now and get the front passenger one when I can, or maybe not bother and just have different coloured seats!
