Clutch on an Astra

Has anyone on here changed a clutch on an Astra H 1.6 on a 56 plate

Has anyone on here changed a clutch on an Astra H 1.6 on a 56 plate

Not a H, but on a G the whole subframe needs to be dropped, lower steering column undone & 4(?) large bolts that hold the subframe in place ........... if that's of any use  :-\ :-\ ;)

Not a H, but on a G the whole subframe needs to be dropped, lower steering column undone & 4(?) large bolts that hold the subframe in place ........... if that's of any use  :-\ :-\ ;)

astra H will need subframe drop same as G  :y

No,sadly it can't :'(,I remember the good old days when an Astra clutch was less than an hours work :(

No,sadly it can't :'(,I remember the good old days when an Astra clutch was less than an hours work :(

Indeed... How Vx thought it was progress to dispose of that system I'll never know ::) I think my record was 43mins with a tea break ;D (although that was on a Cav)
