Has anyone on here changed a clutch on an Astra H 1.6 on a 56 plate

Not a H, but on a G the whole subframe needs to be dropped, lower steering column undone & 4(?) large bolts that hold the subframe in place ........... if that's of any use

astra H will need subframe drop same as G

No,sadly it can't ,I remember the good old days when an Astra clutch was less than an hours work

No,sadly it can't ,I remember the good old days when an Astra clutch was less than an hours work

Indeed... How Vx thought it was progress to dispose of that system I'll never know I think my record was 43mins with a tea break (although that was on a Cav)
