I've read that along with geoff Hughes,we've also lost Sergio Pininfarina.To my mind one of the greats of car styling.

We wouldn't be where we are today with the shape and style of cars without his genius input. RIP.  :( :( :(

As there's another thread concerning Geoff Hughes, I'll only refer to the sad death of Pininfarina.

It is of course a great loss to the motoring world. He was, without doubt, responsible (as were others) for many of the greatest designs ever used to create some of the most appealing and graceful cars made during that golden period of the 20th century.

A particular favourite of mine - even more appealing in the flesh;




1965 Lancia Flaminia Coupe.
