It is about sporting acheivement, personality in this case is I think the wrong terminology although if you are pretty and smile alot it gives you an advantage 

I think alot of people deserve recognition, it is nice to see so called minority sports entertain

Well, I think any such reward should go to whoever gives the most back to their sport. eg, helping youngsters start up.

But, as said, as soon as you get the moronic UK public to pick up phones at £1.50 a time, it becomes about who has the most arsebook followers, and detracts/demeans what was once a great institution
