......quick question. (That'll pish Turk right off ;D)

I've taken to using me laptop more often now and, while I sit here with it getting lovely and warm on the nether regions, it's struck me that I run it all the time from the mains but have left the battery in situ - is this a bad thing and should I remove the battery?

Heat no good for your knackers either. I hate lap tops, purely because of the heat they put out. There will be less heat if not on charge though, iirc. :-\

Modern batteries don't like to be discharged, they prefer to be kept reasonably topped up.
