My mate has been to Thailand a few times and has one piece of advice for anyone embarking on a 'round the world' trip.

Don't start off in Thailand...coz you won't bother going anywhere else.  ;D

Costa del Peckham, the nice part of peckham :y, well the rain has stopped for now, may have strip into Udon Thani today, renew the kids Thai passports, and get some blights food from the big tesco store, oh and the misses wants to buy some make up and clothes, will need a beer after all that. 1.30 minutes to get to Udon, hopefully I won't get stopped by the traffic cops and have to pay some coffee money to them if I get caught speeding ;D ;D

Well had the shopping trip into Udon today 3 hrs driving, 3 hrs shopping, and the last 2 hrs drinking in town :y, managed to buy some homely comforts, Cumberland, and pork chipolata sausages, Bisto, some proper minced beef, and some pies etc, even though the Thai food is lovely and cheap u still miss some home comforts, oh and got some real Heinz beans :y, however, you buy these at a cost, the kids currently playing with a firefly, amazing bugs :y
