Problem with Idle control

My 95' Omega B has a problem:


When I starting on a gas it starts very slowly and can't normally run. RPMs jumps from ~0.7(normal) to 2000-3000 or drops on ~0.4 and the motor "chokes". Then lights up "engine check".
But when I switch to LPG it seems all ok. When my motor has a working temperature this problem occurs sometimes.


6 months ago I have a similar problem, but then I changed my Mass air flow sensor (because it was completely broken) and I rewashed my Idle control valve and my problem disappeared until now.
Now I rewashed again my Idle valve but It has no effect.

Where is a hook ? :)

The LPG kit, is it a mixer system or sequential system? If a mixer, has someone messed about with the throttle?

Has somebody messed with the throttle stop? The butterfly should completely close with no throttle.

sorry, what is a butterfly ?

Inside the throttle body, the part which opens and closes (letting in air) is called the butterfly  :y

Well I don't think that ?I messed up. I just unpluged/ removed then sprayed with WD40 and putted back....

Check it closes properly and fully - some LPG fitters open this slightly to assist LPG idle.

WD40 is not a lubricant. Use a proper thin machine oil.

Sorry, for a dumb question, but how can I see if it closes properly? I just removed and cleaned this part:

Remove air trunking from top of throttle body. Butterfly is the brownish colour metal flap in this pic (viewed from underneath). Operate throttle cable lever to see if it opens & closes correctly
