.......NOT in any way anti English, an awful lot are still.........

My Mother-in-law is from Edinburgh & never realised how anti-English most Scots are until she moved to England to live & just went back 'home' to visit. When my wife worked in Edinburgh city centre the office was actually divided into Catholics, Protestants & English ie my wife, who was actually as Sottish as most of the office if not more. When I was in the Navy at Rosyth if I heard about bloody Bannockburn once ......  :-? (still don't know where it is though  )
If I go for a pint with SWMBO's cousin's husband I'm often introduced to his mates along the lines of 'he's English but it's OK he's with me ...'
