As per above, thank you very much for sorting my window for me, and was nice to see you again and meet Tunnie.

For the question i posted previously about what was holding my window up, here is the culprit................................

Used many a piece of wood to hold the windows up on Rover SD1's years back ;D :y Glad to see it's still NO 1 choice 8)

it turned out that after removing the doorcard and weather seal, the cuplrit had actually moved (probably by opening and closing the door), which meant the window was very slowly moving down, but it was held up by friction! christ, anyone could of opened my window from the outside by hand!  :o

Must add my thanks today for working on the Elites exhaust, first time we have been beaten on a task  :(

Well, at least we had success on the window, even if the exhaust beat us  :-[

Curry and some painkillers later, the failure doesn't seem so bad, and plan A has been formed.
