helping out a mate

A mate of my rang me and said one of his bikes has broken down and could I give him a lift.


Didnt relise he wanted his bike to go with him ;D

That must have been pushing the towbar weight limits as we use a Dave Cooper one for the Moto X bike and I'm never totally happy about that. I wish we had a tilting one to make loading a bit easier. Ours goes on the towbar of a pick-up truck though.  :y

How does that get onto the dolly ? Do you lift it on  :-\

On most, yes.  :y

On some, you can remove a pin, tilt the frame, run the bike up it, level it out and put the pin back in.  :y Trailers are easier but you have to store a trailer somewhere.
Some flash gits with pick-ups have auto-loaders.  :y

Yes you have to lift it on  >:( Back wheel then front wheel bloody killed my back and my lowered suspension wasnt to happy either

I was going to say it looked like it made the front end sit up  ;D Bike looks like a old honda design cd200 or something ...although not a big bike can be heavy enough lifting it  :)

The maximum download on an omega towbar is something like 75kg,not sure how that would fare if stopped by plod ::)

Dry weight if its similar bike to a cd200 is 140kg  ;D
