Plugs and HT leads
« on: 26 September 2012, 06:53:24 »

Hi folks

Thought it was about time I changed the spark plugs on the old girl. Have had the car for 4 years and I've never done them. Couple of times recently I have thought the car seemed to be holding back power wise. Nothing serious and could be in my imagination as I am always waiting some something to go wrong.
Anyway, was just wondering if there was any merit in changing the HT leads at the same time?

Not really, only need replacing if you've had leaking cam cover gaskets and cooked the lead.

Start off with a good service, oil, fuel filter, air filter, plugs and breather clean  :y
