As Kevin Wood and TheBoy says tbh.

If your looking at drifting, some say you have a better throttle response off the 3 ltr  :y

If you start with a 3 ltr, a pair of 2.6 / 3.2's exhaust manifolds will help (better flow)  :y
As will a general bit of cleaning / porting if your handy with a dremmil  ;)
I also believe that by using the 3 ltr's inlet cams as exhaust cams, you may get it to breath a little better too  :y

I reckon the higher CR of the 3.0l might make it easier to improve, eg by improving fanimold.

The low CR of 3.2 is expensive to raise. But supposedly has a stronger crank.

You can still get the 3.0 chip fron Irmscher if you're that power hungry ::)

It's pricey though :-\
