low field vision warning

get the low field vision warning on the dash at the minute what does this mean?

get the low field vision warning on the dash at the minute what does this mean?

There's a fault in the HID levelling system. Could be sensor FNS wishbone, sensor RNS radius arm or either of the levelling motors in the headlamps. First check is the arm at the front hasn't popped off, after that, you need a code reader to ask the car what's up.

It means the head lights have defaulted to the lowest dipped position(due to a fault), ie the field of vision emitted by the head lights is low/near the car to prevent dazzling on coming drivers, as opposed to up near the horizon, as the mot position of the beam dictates. So you will have less field of vision from the lights to see where your going.

So as Andy says, you need to find the fault, as he describes. Mostly, and easiest to find, its a disconnected sensor on one of the suspension arms.
