On my old C class Merc,you pushed a button on the dash and they fell backwards onto the rear shelf. Was a nice little touch. :)

On the S Class with electric rear seats they came back up again too 8)

Fl estates have a button on the seat that allows the headrest to tip forward when you fold the seats down :y
