When I used to fix phones, I was a Special Faults Investigation Officer, so my days were filled with dealing with nutters problematic customers.

Most days, I was in Milton Keynes, as it has a very high proportion of people who haven't got all their dogs on one lead.

One day, I was in the shopping centre at lunch, and heard this woman cry out. No need to turn and look, it was one of my nutters, who CID (I worked closely with various authorities) told me to drop any investigation, as she suffered badly from the 'voices'. So I slipped into one of the shops with entrances both sides, and watched as she raced towards me, with people having to leap out of the way, cartoon style. Mad bitch. I used another exit, and doubled back, giving her the slip.

My office got a call a hour or so later, asking if I could collect her from a phonebox and take her home, as her batteries had gone flat ;D

Not sure. That wouldn't be her first choice as she lives on Institute road but I know her most local quacks wouldn't take her on as it's overrun with patients who go there because it's free, not because there's anything wrong with them. ::)
