If the media kept their gobs shut for once then we wouldn't get panic buying. There's absolutely no point in being told on  TV, radio and newspapers that "there could be a shortage but there's no need to panic buy" because everyone knows thats EXACTLY what the public will do.

I know many people will say that it's freedom of speech so we must be told, but I think there are some things that would benefit the public by not telling them.

Rant over - I'll get me coat! ::)

I could not agree more....the cause of so many shortages has been created simply by the media stating there will not be any shortages!!

We ARE mostly human after all! ;D

Getting bad in my neck of the woods, we are very close to the centre of the disruption and many petrol stations are closed with no fuel.

Those that do have fuel are limiting the spending to £15  ::)
