53 plate Vec 2.0 dti elite (non xenon).  I  have replaced the drivers side dipped beam headlamp bulb, now indicator lamp comes on steady (ie not flashing) with headlights. Indicators work normally with and without headlights. Also getting a message on display to check the parking light.  I have checked for trapped wires etc that may be causing a short, cant see anything obvious.  Does anyone have any ideas Please?

The earth connection on that lamp is faulty.

Sorted lights, all working correctly now. But still getting intermittent message say check right side parking light.

Just a quick update. It turns out, that when I replaced the headlamp bulb, the new one had a manufacturing fault., which resulted in failure within 3 weeks. Now replaced with another bulb from a different supplier. All lights working fine, and no messages on the display.

Another reason to use branded bulbs & not cheapo bulbs from Halfords/etc
