    Hi all, got me some wiper trouble. I'm finding that my wipers won't work on the first position, intermittent setting, also they fail to self park, can anyone help ? (2.5td)

Tall yellow relay in triangle fuse box under the bonnet  battery side 

Just had exact same trouble  . . . replacement relay   A1   again 

presume diesel is the same

I take it I sent the correct relay then Al ?  .............may well have another if the OP needs one.

multiple threads on the same fault just causes confusion ....... 

The self park is a switch within the wiper motor, could be that that is goosed. By rights you can't get to it, so you need a new/A N Other wiper motor.

Surely it  is worth trying the relay first. It was the problem with mine .

Yes, if you have one to hand. Still doesn't change where the self park switch is though.

did you spray electrical contact spray into switch? that might help-dirty contacts in switch?? only a guess mate
