wiper problem
« on: 12 November 2012, 23:30:42 »

Hi all, got me some wiper trouble. I'm finding that my wipers won't work on the first position, intermittent setting, also they fail to self park, can anyone help ? (2.5td)

Cheers

multiple threads on the same fault just causes confusion .......  ;)

The self park is a switch within the wiper motor, could be that that is goosed. By rights you can't get to it, so you need a new/A N Other wiper motor.  ;)

Surely it  is worth trying the relay first. It was the problem with mine .

Appolgies for the multiple thread inclusion  earlier .I  now  understand  this could cause confusion  :-[

Yes, if you have one to hand. Still doesn't change where the self park switch is though.  ;) ;)
