Mind you I was doing the shopping in Sainsburys with Mrs. KW eating chocolate cake and drinking coffee while Mrs. KW did the shopping earlier and she got pulled up for having 2 packets of Paracetamol and one of Ibuprofen.

Although i have to take medicine daily , you cant beat a home made chocolate cake for that comfort feeling but not every day  ... but the other end of the scale is marmite on toast which is just as pleasurable

...........that is another one of my favourites

 

How about peanut butter with jam on bread??

The chip buttie , one of life's comfort foods but £2.50 for a big bag of chips now and no batter bits   

Self scanning items in the shop i dont mind but they always seem to flag up a fault mainly due to the weight miscalculation plate  Funny how these were introduced to save on staff but every self scanning check out has a couple of permanent staff re-setting the machines

A couple of years ago I popped into ASDA for a sunday newspaper.  Picked a copy of The Sunday Times and when I scanned it at the self serve checkout it went "Approval needed!!" 

The girl came over and we had a bit of a laugh about needing to be over 18 to buy The Sunday Times, but I've always wondered if something more sinister was going on......
