Rear Window
« on: 16 December 2012, 16:01:49 »

Some nice person full of xmas cheer (aka b.stard)  put the rear drivers side window in on my miggy last night.  I've sourced a replacement and have so far managed to get the door card off and and the carrier that's bonded to the glass out however, I'm unsure how to get the side channels out or for that matter how to get the new one in.  Any hints, tips or instructions would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Col

Forgot to say, it's the one that goes up and down not the quarter light  :(

I'm sure that if you peel back the rubber seal at the top of the window/quarter light guide, there's a bolt. This needs to come out as well as another at towards the bottom of the guide .... bolted through the door panel. The guide will drop down allowing the 'new' glass to go into the window runners .......
It's a long time since I've done one  :-\
