mx5 beat omegas not only in short run also on the long run.. but for simplicity  we are talking about a short run..not even a quarter mile..

As a regular driver of both a 3.2 Omega and a 1.8 Mk2 MX-5 I can assure you that it wouldn't have to be a very long run for the Omega to be back in front. ;)

This is where power to drag comes in, and the Omega is more slippery and more powerful. Besides, the MX 5 will run out of revs at 130 MPH. ;)

without doubt , you will need longer than a mile..  ;D :y
