The miggy doing my head in again started it today fine- went out later and it sits there reving up and down on its own so revved it few times then settled down yo steady idle- What is going on 
no fault codes - checked

looked fine but do i use 3 in 1 oil to lube it-if so how mush and where do i put it-not being funny-neveer had to do icv
before Had all sorts of miggy nightmares to do but not icv

There's a little plunger that rotates and opens or closes the ICV. Pretty self explanatory once you have it on the bench. Rinse it out with carb cleaner then a little oil on the plunger so it can rotate freely.

Check for air leaks around the ICV and elsewhere while you're at it. If you get a leak big enough to raise the idle speed above limits, the ECU will cut fuel until the RPM drops and this can cause it to cycle up and down repeatedly.

Well did icv today- now idles once warmed up otherwise stalls -my mate checked fuses and number 29 blown put new one in and whole dash lit up took it out-again so parked it up and gave in-my old man given me his ratty astra van (its filthy/rusty but goes) so gonna use that for now as so fed up with the miggy- getting to hate the car-seriously I am-have been surfing egay checking prices as reckon its beyond me now mechanics/engineering-can do Electickery not so good.

Believe thats live feed to towbar.  Have you got a towbar fitted mate?  If so you may have a wiring issue with it if fuse 29 keeps blowing.  Leave it out won't affect engine idle/running

possibly blocked breathers/low engine oil  . only saying as i had similar issue cleaned the throttle body and the breathers and hasnt happened since?
