I have friends with SAAB's, they don't have any issue's getting parts.

I have customers with them,no problems here either.I reckon mechanical parts will be fine its trim etc that will get scarce first.

Trim is always the first to become scarce. That's because it isn't a service part for dealers, so it's special order from the manufacturer's parts system. It's rarely needed anyway, so stocks are very low. Finally, there are usually so many different colours/materials/spec changes, that it's often impossible to source new even for a car that's a few years old.

I can't see mechanical parts for fairly recent Saabs being a problem for sometime; after all Omegas aren't an issue, and they've been out of production for years. I'd also bet there are more similarly aged Saabs on the road than there are Omegas. Saab has long had a dedicated/fanatical following, whereas the Omega is just a big Vauxhall with no image whatsoever to lift the values.

I wouldn't say that there's OOF for starters and like any brand of car there are fanatics and there are plenty of Vauxhall fanatics along with other car brands. But I understand what your saying.

Got a 2003 Saab 95 vector estate . 3.0L turbo diesel. Pics on here somewhere. I think it's a fantastic car, looks good and goes like stink.
I like the 95 saloon, but think the 93 from 04 plate onwards is a "prettier" car.

Seen it and its a pretty decent car, although its a totally different experiance driving it compared to the stable RWD Omega, it's almost got too much power for a FWD car and feels a little light on the steering... It's comfy although not noticeably better than any Omega, and the layout of the egnition and electric windows are daft imo. Apart from that its a decent Omega replacement but the "Y" reg one I saw there's no point really if it was "03" onwards I would have probably bought it... It did look good in black though I must say and very unusual 3 spoke alloys which look good on it.
