Doh! (politics)

8 February 2013

David Cameron has hailed a deal which will see the first ever real-terms cut in the European Union's budget as "good for the UK and good for Europe".
After two days of talks, leaders agreed on a 908bn euros (£768bn) budget limit for 2014 to 2020 - about 3% lower than the current seven-year period.
The prime minister said the public could be "proud" of the deal.
Labour welcomed the news but critics warned the European Parliament could still block the package.

They just did.

How's that pride thingy going for you now, Dave?  ::) ::) ::)

I believe that they simply want governments to pay this years bills so that there is nothing outstanding in the next financial year. Something that has never happened before, but should. They also want to be able to move money which is unused from one pot to another. That's dangerous as it leaves money which is supposed to be ringfenced open to abuse.

I did warn you at the time that this was going to happen. The EU want an extra £1.7bn per year from the UK starting this year.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/9927439/MEPs-reject-EU-spending-cuts-and-demand-extra-1.7bn-from-British-taxpayers.html

Still, it should help UKIP's vote in 2014 and 2015. I wonder how much longer people are going to put up with this constant drain of resources though what we pay and in return the blight on our everyday lives including the de-industrialization of the UK to keep the German Green party happy!

[rant_on]
My next prediction is that not only do we end up with these extra budget costs, but the EU deal sweeteners given to all countries expect Poland and the UK for the deal that hasn't happened will go ahead. So we get the worse of everything and I've no doubt the Europhile see you next Tuesday Cameron, will still be spouting what a good deal we have got, where the MEPs can only put the budget up by 2%, conveniently forgetting all about the budget overrun extra money, they can also demand, which from memory can be up to an additional 5% of the budget. So all in all about a 7% increase, which is about what they were asking for.

I've seen all these sorts of tricks before by left wing politicians before, where tax is not what they legally steal from you, but what is left is what they generously let you keep. So don't forget you sell you mind and body for 8 hours a day, not for your benefit, but for those thieving c's to line their pockets at your expense.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Thank god, in the next few weeks I shall have all of my paper work sort out for my permanent residence visa in Ukraine, living in a democracy again instead of dictatorship.

He'd better get on with it otherwise he'll be shelling out 'plasticwork' for his visa rather than 'paperwork'.  ;D
